Czech Republic to host Iran film

'Everybody Knows' is set to be screened at the Karlovy Vary Int'l Film Festival in the Czech Republic.

Directed by Asghar Farhadi, the film will be screened at the Horizons Section of the 53rd edition of the event.

‘Everybody Knows’ details the journey of a family from Buenos Aires to Spain for a celebration.

The Karlovy Vary International Film Festival is the largest film festival in the Czech Republic and the most prestigious in Central and Eastern Europe.

It is one of the oldest A-list film festivals, a category it shares with the festivals of Cannes, Berlin, Venice, San Sebastian, Moscow, Montreal, Shanghai, and Tokyo.

Among filmmakers, buyers, distributors, sales agents, and journalists, KVIFF is considered as the most important event in all of Central and Eastern Europe.

Intended for both film professionals and the general public, the festival annually presents some 200 films from around the world, and regularly hosts famous and important filmmakers.
